Eftir mikla eftirvæntingu kynnir verslunin Kronkron stolt í fyrsta skipti í verslun sinni sænska tískurisann Acne og hið franska See by Chloé. Fyrrum hönnuður undirmerkis Sonia Rykiel tók nýverið við stöðu yfirhönnuðar hjá See by Chloé en Sonia by Sonia Rykiel hefur notið mikillar velgengni í verlsuninni Kronkron og því ætti See by Chloé að falla vel í kramið hjá viðskiptavinum verslunarinnar. See by Chloé er undirlína franska tískuhússins Chloé og var sett á markað árið 2001 með það að markmiði að hæfa yngri kynslóðinni og þeim sem vilja færa sig yfir í fágaðari stíl.

Acne tískumerkið var stofnað í Stokkhólmi Svíðþjóð árið 1996 með þá hugmynd í fararteskinu að hanna 100 mismunandi gallabuxur fyrir bæði kynin eða svokallaðar unisex gallabuxur sem vakti mikla athygli innan tískuheimsins. Árið 1998 kom fyrsta fatalína þeirra á markaðinn með það að leiðarljósi að þróa eftirsóknarverðan fatnað úr hágæða efnum. Hönnuðum Acne langaði að þróa lúkk sem væri töff og stílhreint en á sama tíma mjög klæðilegt og nútímalegt. Núna fimmtán árum seinna eftir stofnun fyrirtækisins er sænska tískumerkið heimsþekkt og talið frumkvöðull á sínu sviði og heldur fyrirtækið út verslunum og verkefnum í níu löndum.

Fyrir utan komu Acne og See by Chloé munu á næstu misserum streyma inn nýjar vörur í verslunina Kronkron við Vitastíg 63.b fyrir sumarið 2011. Síðast en ekki síst má alls ekki gleyma fyrstu fatalínu Kron by Kronkron sem kom í verslunina núna í vikunni og hefur notið mikillar hylli viðskiptavina en þess má geta að kjólarnir komu í fáum eintökum... því er til mikils að hlakka.

Hugrún og Magni eigendur og hönnuðir Kron by Kronkron byrjuðu að hanna sína eigin skólínu árið 2008 sem hafa notið vinsælda um allan heim. Skórnir eru komnir í sölu í tæplega 70 verslunum í 25 löndum. Nú hafa Hugrún og Magni fært út kvíarnar og er fyrsta fatalína Kron by Kronkron komin á markað sem inniheldur kjóla og sokkabuxur.

Skórnir eru þekktir fyrir að vera mjög litríkir og fullir af gleði og það sama má segja um kjólana sem eru í svipuðum stíl. Þeir eru bæði rómantískir og kynþokkafullir að sögn Hugrúnar en það er samspil lita og efnasamsetningar sem spilar alltaf aðalhlutverkið þegar það kemur að Kron by Kronkron og er það sem gerir hönnunina tímalausa.

Fatalína Kron by Kronkron kom í verslun Hugrúnar og Magna 9. febrúar og kemur hver kjóll í fáum eintökum. Einnig hélt verslun Kisunnar í New York partý síðast liðið fimmtudagskvöld til heiðurs Kron by Kronkron á tískuvikunni þar í borg og kynnti fatalínu merkisins fyrir sumarið 2011. Auk þess var verslunin Kronkron að fá í hús fatnað frá sænska tískurisanum Acne ásamt fatnaði frá See by Chloé og má því með sanni segja að það séu spennandi tímar í Kron veldinu.

Kron, Kronkron & Kron by Kronkron...

The name has á long story. Long time ago we only had one supermarket in Reykjavík, which name was Kron.

Kron represent "Kaupfélag Reykjavíkur og nágrennis" meaning the supermarket of Reykjavík and neighborhood.

Because it was the only supermarket in Reykjavík all inhabitants were bound to either work for it or shopping there.

In the store you could buy anything from milk, oil, timber and food. This store was closed in 1990.

In the year 2000 we took up the name again and opened a store where you could buy shoes.

Kron became very successful and is now one if the primary shoe stores in Reykjavík.

Kron store is known for it´s beautiful shoes, colorfulness and good ambience.

In 2004 the opening of Kronkron was the only thing to do, people were craving for design and obviously liked our work.

Kronkron has been simbolized with confectionery where you can pick up the most beautiful pieces in international design both in clothes, shoes and accessorize.

Not long ago the magazine Eurowoman chose Kronkron as one of the seven best concept stores in the world.

There you can read that Kronkron is a leading concept in the fashion and lifestyle in Iceland with our brands and humorous design.

By taking the step to make Kron by Kronkron shoes we are certain that our reputation will only grow and become more remarkable and most definitely there is more to come.
